Officers
President: Dorothy O’Connell
Dorothy has been with TAPP for the last six years. She is a well known Ottawa anti-poverty activist, and the author of two books of short stories. The City of Ottawa sponsors an award each year for significant community activity named after her. An ex-member of the Ontario Social Assistance Review Board, she has great wit, and is also President of West End Legal Services. TAPP is very honoured to have her as President.
Secretary/Treasurer: Helene Boggia – Finance Manager
Helene is an original Board Member who has been giving of herself to help TAPP for the last 12 years. She has been a invaluable resource and a very important reason for TAPP’s success. She is currently a Vice President at the United Way of Ottawa, in charge of raising donations from the federal government employee sector for the United Way campaign.

Caroline Hannah – Fundraiser and Counsellor
Caroline is an experienced counsellor, seminar leader and fund raiser.
Douglas Henderson – Community Developer
Douglas is another senior member of TAPP’s Board. He been involved in community work in Canada for over two decades, working with the homeless in Vancouver and, for those in need around the world, in his work with the Canadian Red Cross.
Carolyn MacLeod – Active Community Volunteer
Carolyn is a committed community person, currently employed as a Policy Analyst by the Canadian International Development Agency, CIDA.

Jeannette is presently on leave of absence, studying at the Hazelden Graduate School in the U.S. to earn her Master’s Degree in Addiction Counselling.
